FITNESS, FUNK AND PRAISE REFIT!

REFIT is a 90 minute workout set to energetic, positive, and uplifting music! It is for everybody and every body! Classes take place on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-6:15pm & Saturday mornings from 9-10am at Faith Fellowship!

Kids in Crisis: You're Not Alone

The Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth Mental Health Workgroup is honored to host Kids in Crisis: You’re Not Alone, a documentary and panel discussion about mental health resources in the community on World Suicide Prevention Day.

The nationally recognized 27 minute documentary follows four Wisconsin young people as they navigate mental health challenges. Following the film, a panel of local mental health experts will discuss topics raised in the film and answer questions from the audience.

For teens and adults, doors open at 5:45pm and the documentary begins at 6pm. The panel discussion begins at 6:30pm. At the Froehlke Auditorium, Laird Center for Medical Research. Limited seating, registration required: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WZXTNXK

Guest speaker is Kevin Hermening, the youngest of the Americans held hostage for 44 days at the U.S. Embassy in Iran from 1979 to 1981. Kevin is an active community member, volunteer, small business owner, and a Marine veteran. He often shares his experiences in captivity with students, civic organizations, businesses, military, and church groups.

Ruby's Pantry Food Distribution

Ruby's Pantry Food Distribution takes place on the 3rd Saturday every month and registration begins at 8 am with food distribution beginning at 9 am and going to approximately 10:30 am (or until the food is gone).  Guests are asked to bring two large boxes or baskets per order.  There is a requested donation of $20 per order.  Items vary from month to month and are donated directly from manufacturers.  If you have further questions, please feel free to contact Scharme at office@eastgatealliance.com through e-mail or phone 715-387-3654.

Brighten someone’s day - volunteer to deliver Meals on Wheels!

You can do this once a week, once a month, on your own, with a friend or with a group. A typical route would only take about 1-1 1/2 hours from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. They are currently seeking volunteers for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays. A reliable vehicle and clean record are required.

By volunteering you will be helping homebound elderly receive the nutrition they need, a smiling face at their door and the opportunity to remain at home.

Jeremiah's Crossing Registration Fair

It’s that time again! Time to get ready for the 2019 Lesson Season at Jeremiah’s Crossing!

We are planning a Registration Fair on Sat., April 6th from 10 am to 3 pm at Crossroads Church in Pittsville.

Whether you are a returning or new student or a volunteer, we need to see you prior to the beginning of lessons, because we have information to share with you!

At the fair, you will receive ALL of the information you need to enroll a student or to register to volunteer. It’s important that you attend to receive information and learn more about how Jeremiah’s Crossing is able to serve our special students.

Register for lessons - students with special needs ages 4 and older.

Register to volunteer - those age 14 and older who desire to help Jeremiah’s Crossing continue serving our community by providing free horseback riding lessons to students with special needs.
