Events Coming Up @ Faith Fellowship
Beginning this week, in order to help provide assistance to victims of the recent massive flooding in central Texas, we are partnering with Crystal Lake Baptist Church in Leander, Texas. This is the church where our former lead pastor, Larry Sheahan, is currently pastoring. Leander is only about two hours from Kerrville, where the flood damage was extensive and where 135 people lost their lives. However, Sandy Creek, a small impoverished community, just 5 miles from Leander, also suffered major damage that same weekend, even losing a main bridge that prohibited people from being able to return to their homes, recover items and assess damage.
Many short-term and long-term needs for housing, repair and rebuilding are underway but it will take months for this area to recover. Please consider giving a financial gift to this special offering for the Sandy Creek flood victims via the link below. From there, just click on the give now box and choose "flood relief" from the dropdown menu. All funds will go directly to helping meet the needs of those in Sandy Creek affected by the flood.

LET’S GO!
We want to be a church that gets outside our walls to love and serve our community and draw them to the Gospel. So on Sunday, August 17th, we are launching another FAITH IN ACTION SUNDAY. Immediately following a SINGLE brief 15 minute service at 10AM with one song and a short devotion from Pastor Rob, we will break off into teams and disperse to various sites around Marshfield, worshipping God through the use of our hands and feet as we serve together in our community.
Childcare will be available for kids 0-3yrs old, but families with kids that are 4+ are encouraged to bring them with to help serve at one of our many family-friendly project sites.
Here are some of the team projects we are working on but we still have some to finalize. Nearly all of these projects are family-friendly, those that are limited to adult volunteers only will be noted:

After we've all served at the different project sites for Faith In Action Sunday, we'll come back to the church for our annual church picnic and we'll have the opportunity to connect with one another and maybe even share the stories of how God moved through our acts of service and ministry to others.
The church will provide meat, beverages and tableware but we ask that you bring a dish to pass to round out the meal (you can drop it off in the kitchen before 10am). So, if your last name begins with the letters A through I, please bring please bring a dessert, if it's J through R, bring a casserole or hot dish, and if it's S through Z, bring a veggie or fruit salad. Child dedications are a wonderful opportunity for families to take an intentional first step in discipling their children. These celebrations, are for all families with babies or young children who are ready to make the public commitment to act as the primary disciple makers of their children. Let us come alongside, and celebrate with our church family, as you take on this tremendous task of raising your children to know, trust, love, follow, and serve Jesus.
Please click HERE to register before Monday, September 8th and be sure to choose in which service, the 9:00am or the 10:45am, that you’d like your child/children to be dedicated.
If you’ve been attending Faith Fellowship for several months, weeks, days, or even for the very first time, we invite you to a time of coffee, refreshments & connection on Sunday, September 14th at 10:15am in the Fireside Room!
Immediately following the 9am worship service (which should be around 10:15am), we will be providing an opportunity for you to get to know us as we get to know you, all while enjoying a cup of freshly brewed coffee and refreshments. And if you have questions about Faith Fellowship, about who we are and what we do, this is the perfect time to ask.
