DISCIPLESHIP

Undisclosed LOCATION

This couple, partners of Faith Fellowship, is bringing the love of Christ to a people in a sensitive area almost entirely unreached with the gospel. Pray that God would open a door for his Word (Col. 4:3), and provide opportunities to declare his glory and tell of his salvation (Ps. 96:2-3). Pray also for the faith and perseverance of your brothers and sisters in Christ, whose decision to follow Jesus in this region comes at great cost.

Josh & Megan Smith

Josh & Megan Smith, Joy, Eliana & James

Guatemala

Josh and Megan met at Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN as biology majors with a mutual interest in medical mission work. They both wanted their life to have lasting impact and knew the road would be long and difficult. Now, 15 years of marriage, 10 years of medical training, 6 moves, 4 states, and 3 kids later, they are following God’s continued leading to Guatemala to do the very thing He called them both individually to do all those years ago! In a country roughly the size of Tennessee with a population of nearly 18 million, there’s only one other surgeon with the same specialized training as Josh. While the medical need is great, the spiritual need is even greater. The Gospel in Guatemala is wide but very shallow. Millions of people know about Jesus, but they don’t know him personally.

They will be serving with TEAM, a global missions agency dedicated to helping churches send missionaries wherever the Gospel needs to be heard.

Clarke & Kris Stoesz with Ukrainian Staff

ukraine orphan outreach

Colorado/ukraine

Caring for “the least of these” is Ukraine Orphan Outreach’s holistic approach of caring for orphans. Their primary engagement pre-war was the operation of two transition homes for aged-out orphans. This included extended care in their communities by touching institutionalized orphans, widows and single orphaned moms. Since the war started in February 2022, they have expanded their approach to include orphans of all ages, as well as internally displaced people, meeting the needs of food, housing, physiological, and medical support in a Christ-centered model.
