This group's goal is to team with caregivers who are stressed out, overwhelmed, and feeling isolated.  Caregivers Gather Group is here to help relieve you of some of these stressors that maybe you've never been trained in or prepared for.

Dana Detwiler works for the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Taylor County.  She has two roles - Dementia Care Specialist and Caregiver Coordinator.  Both of these roles are primarily serving caregivers.  At Caregivers, Dana will address some of the following...

• Caregivers who are caring for a loved one who is experiencing dementia. 

• Caregivers who are taking care of elderly family members who are experiencing age-related frailty.

• Caregivers of people with chronic illness like cancer or multiple schlorisis.

• Caregivers of a family member with a disability.

• Elderly caregivers who are caring for their grandkids.
