I Surrender All - Priscilla Shirer
Led by: Lea Hanke & Heidi Rekis
Priscilla Shirer gives this fervent appeal and invitation to surrender everything to Jesus. To follow Him not just as your Savior but as your priority, your first love, your Lord. To move beyond being a believer to becoming His disciple. Discipleship comes at a high cost, it’s surrender and effort. It’s a daily choice to lay down your life and follow His. Few believers choose this route, but the ones who do will experience the abundance that only the surrendered life can offer. It’s the one choice standing between you and the life of freedom and fulfillment, of peace and purpose you’ve always wanted. The choice that changes everything. This book will be impossible to simply read because it beckons you to make a decision about the kind of Christian you will be. Prepare to engage, to write, to pray, and be called into a surrendered and abundant life. A disciple’s life.
The Familiar Stranger - Tyler Staton
Led by: Holly Martin & Maggie Snitko
Experience a life-changing encounter with the Person of the Holy Spirit and discover the fully alive spirituality you've been longing for. In The Familiar Stranger, pastor and author Tyler Staton draws on Scripture, tradition, and spiritual practices to help you step into a genuine relationship with the Holy Spirit. Christians today are hungry for authentic spiritual experiences, yet all too often they don't have the knowledge of or relationship with the Holy Spirit. The confusion and unfamiliarity that surround the Person of the Holy Spirit, lead too many Christians either to sideline him or misunderstand what he means for their spiritual lives. For a generation searching desperately for an experiential spirituality, there's good news: the Holy Spirit's indwelling presence to empower and transform is freely available. The Familiar Stranger reintroduces you to this oft-neglected Person of the Trinity, tracing the story of the Holy Spirit as it unfolds throughout the Bible, and invites you to close the gap between what Scripture reveals about the Holy Spirit and your lived experience.
I Want To Trust You, But I Don’t - Lysa TerKeurst
Led by: Jen Nelson & McKenzie Anding
Where there's a lack of trust, there's a lack of peace. Broken trust can send us spiraling: Can anyone really be trusted? What if distrust is actually the wisest choice to make? What do I do with my doubts about God when He allows bad things to happen? Are there biblical answers for any of this? Lysa TerKeurst understands this kind of deep wrestling and has asked these same hard questions in the midst of her own relational heartbreaks and uncontrollable circumstances. But after thousands of hours of counseling intensives and theological research, Lysa has discovered how crucial it is to develop the stability you long for within yourself and with God, so you don't become cynical and carry a broken belief system into every new relationship.
